EXTREME SPORTS CHANNEL AND EXTREME INTERNATIONAL ARE ATTENDING NATPE IN THE BRITISH PAVILION, NORTH HALL - BOOTH 1663

THE EXTREME SPORTS CHANNEL CONTINUES EXCELLENT GROWTH ACROSS EUROPE WITH EXPANSION INTO S. AMERICA, N. AMERICA, INDIA AND AUSTRALIA ON SCHEDULE FOR 2001 AND EXTREME INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTES THE LEADING SERIES' IN EXTREME SPORTS, BLUETORCH TV AND CORE CULTURE

"I love what we do. I live it and breathe it. This is truly an exciting time to be in our business," said Extreme Group Ltd., Managing Director, Alistair Gosling energetically when discussing his company's global leadership position in Extreme Sports broadcasting, programme distribution and event development.

And if the projected growth of the Extreme Sports Channel worldwide, the addition of the most significant series' in North American production, and the success of the inaugural World Extreme Games in Melbourne, Australia (345 mm homes delivered across five continents) are any indication, then the Extreme Group is poised for exponential growth in 2001.

The Extreme Sports Channel: The Extreme Sports Channel itself, is a global 24 hours sports network that features programs and live events from the action, adventure and alternative sports genres. It is a joint venture between the Extreme Group and United Pan-European Communications - UPC (the largest cable operator in Europe, 9M subs). Delivered via a network of satellites, the channel, initially launched in Amsterdam May 1999, is now broadcasting in 4 languages across 18 countries in Europe; recently culminating in the UK launch on Sky. With planned launches for South America, North America, India and Australia by the end of 2001.

Extreme International: Extreme International is the distribution and production division of the Extreme Group, and has been specializing in Extreme Sports programs for five years. The company is now the world's leader in this specialty. Ben Barrett, the company's Director of International Sales noted, "Over the last few years our producer relationship and library have evolved to the point where we are considered the "go to" company for the most dynamic content in Extreme Sports. When we started this business, we had to focus a lot of time and energy on educating program buyers to the genre itself. Now they know exactly what they're looking for. They know Extreme Sports programming is the perfect, compelling vehicle to speak to the independent spirit of Gen - Y, and by default, so do the advertisers targeting that generation. That advertising base is broad reaching globally from Pepsi to Nestle to Gillette."

Mr. Barrett also commented that Extreme International has made a focused effort on building its distribution base to over 600 hours of Adventure Travel, Nature & Wildlife, and Technology programming. These genres are a first cousin, and in many ways speak to the same generation as Extreme Sports content. www.extremeinternational.com

The World Extreme Games (WEG): WEG 2000, was staged as the alternative Olympics in Melbourne, Australia from December 1-3. The event brought together the top extreme sports stars in the world competing at the first international games of its kind.

Executive Producer for US television, Lloyd Adams, stated that, "The Games were a truly global event, providing top quality programming for the Extreme Sports Channel and broadcasters worldwide. Beyond 20 hours of programming on Fox here in the US, which was a coup, we delivered the event to 345 mm homes on 5 continents for 1hr specials and multi-part series (includes Fox 60 mm homes), and 200 mm homes through magazine shows. We definitely captured the energy of the Games, and translated it provocatively to our audience."

Broadcasters included: Fox - US, AXN - Latin America, Network 10 - Australia, Channel 4 - UK, AXN - Pan Asia, DSF - Germany, JSky Sports - Japan, to name a few. In addition the event was covered internationally by: 64 newspapers, 58 magazines, 35 newscasts, 27 websites and 21 radio shows. The 2001 Games are scheduled for London last quarter of 2001.

www.extreme.com - is the web site address for the worldwide Extreme Sports Channel, also a joint venture with UPCtv and is being run as a separate company. It will enhance the viewers experience of the broadcast channel and act as the portal for the online extreme sports community. Most of the Extreme Sports Channel content is cleared for Broadband and narrow band streaming and www.extreme.com will be the focal point for this. www.extreme.com is also being developed as a fully interactive internet channel, which will be supplied to all new carriage platforms globally thus extending and exposing the brand very rapidly around the world.

The Extreme Shop - The Extreme Group recently announced an exciting new project currently in the latter stages of development. Extreme Shop is a new adventure-packed TV retail mail-order e-tail shopping business dedicated to extreme sports and lifestyle. The Extreme Shop will cover all extreme sports and include snowboarding, surfing, skating, windsurfing, body boarding, mountain biking, and lifestyle wear.
