SURFS UP, SALES UP AT EXTREMEPIE.COM Extreme Retail are pleased to report that sales for Extremepie.com are up by 48 % year on year. Extremepie.com Europe's largest and most successful mail-order and online surf, skate & snow retailer has continued to experience solid and sustained growth since launch in 2001. During 2004 sales growth has accelerated significantly and transaction volumes are growing at approximately 50% month on month. Best selling products from brands such as Animal and Billabong sold over 1000 units per day during the busiest weekend this year. The growth is due to a combination of factors including the ever increasing dominance of Extremepie.com in the sector, the increasing awareness of the Extreme Brand and synergies between Extreme Retail and other companies in the Extreme Group. For example, Extreme Drinks' back-of-can-promotion across the 115 Granada/Moto Service Stations and the ongoing TV sponsorship, advertising and co-promotions with the Extreme Sports Channel. The positive momentum is further fuelled by additional online and mail order marketing spend by Extremepie.com, coupled with the overall increase in UK online shopping and the continued growth of Extreme Sports and the lifestyle surrounding it. Ced Perrier has joined Exremepie.com to head up online marketing and co promotional link-ups, all aimed at increasing traffic levels to drive sales. Prior to this Ced was working at Coco-Net, where he worked on online promotion for clients such as MOBO Music Awards, World Dance Music Awards, and developed online business partnerships with MSN, AOL, British Airways, Amazon.co.uk, Google, and MTV. To cater for the ongoing increase in sales Extremepie.com have moved into a new state of the art warehouse and office building which provides ten times the capacity available in 2003. This ensures that the infrastructure is in place to carry out the planned expansion into Europe in Q4 this year and to manage the ongoing growth. Additionally, the new warehouse enables the company to carry out its planned UK high street roll out and ensures Extreme Retail can continue to set up and run online concept stores for some of Europe's leading surf and sports ware brands. With
the Extreme Sports channel now reaching over 18 million homes, the demand
for lifestyle brands such as Quiksilver, Billabong, Roxy, and Animal
