GUMBALL 3000
SIX-PART SERIES PREMIERES ON SUNDAY 11TH JULY 2004 @ 8:30PM

Fast, furious and the wackiest race in the world – this year Gumball 3000 comes to Europe with a world premiere series on Extreme Sports Channel.

The six-day high-glamour endurance rally travels 3000 miles from Paris to the Sahara and back, via a host of stunning locations and parties to a rapturous finish at the Cannes Film Festival.

Driven by the well-heeled and just plain reckless, drivers as various as Adrien Brody, Jodie Kidd, Tony Hawk and Bucky Lasek chase across France, Spain and North Africa at speeds of up to 190mph.

But in this show everyone’s a star - from the cunning London cabbie to the eccentric billionaire who thinks he’s a robot - from the Ferraris and Maseratis to the 2CV - from the hospital workers working on the crashed crusaders to the cops who become ever more involved as speeding tickets, roadblocks and even jail become par for the Gumball course.

Don’t miss the carnage, chaos and anarchy in this incredible trans-continental chase, described by NBC as “the most glamorous and notorious rally ever staged” on Extreme Sports Channel every Sunday at 8:30pm from 11th July.

Gumball 3000 airs every Sunday at 8:30pm from 11th July, with repeat episodes at 8:30pm on Saturdays.
