Extreme Drinks announces new distribution deals in the Americas, Asia and Europe

Extreme Drinks has some great news – we’ve
recently signed deals with switched on supremo drinks distributors in Venezuela,
French Polynesia, Spain, the Seychelles and Chile. Our funky range of healthy
functional drinks can now be found in 21 countries on 5 continents, from the
snow-capped French Alps to the sizzlin’ Californian coast, to the big wave surf
beaches of Tahiti.
Our new friends in Venezuela live and breathe extreme sports. They launched our
drinks out of Isla Margarita, which is the kite-surfing Mecca of the Caribbean.
The wind, waves and vibe there make this the perfect place to build our brand.
The plan is to expand into the mainland over the next few months on the back of
the great noise they’ve made there so far. O

ur French Polynesian partners are based in Papeete, Tahiti – the most beautiful place imaginable. They’ve already built a great following around the local surf shops and, by sponsoring the best club nights and a few of the big wave canoe surfers, we’ve got a real solid base to build on. We’ve already got listings with the big retail chains and distribution is rapidly growing throughout the islands. Clearly the office is going to have to visit them regularly to check on sales!

Via España! We’ve hooked up with a
fantastic partner in Spain who’s based out of Barcelona. In a few short months
they’ve got us key listings in national retailers like Grupo Vips and already
Aqua Still (our “hipclip” Mineral Water) is gracing the coolest hotels and bars
in that coolest of Spanish towns – Barcelona. There’s a big sales drive over the
rest of the summer in key towns and resorts so we can keep building our profile
to set up a record 2007.
We’re happy to announce also that Chile and the Seychelles have just been signed
– the ink’s drying on the deals now and they both have brilliant and unique
launch strategies planned for later this Autumn – watch this space.

Working with all of our fantastic
distribution partners around the world (who are all as passionate about Extreme
Drinks as we are), and with the Extreme brand receiving continuous exposure 24/7
in over 60 counties from the Extreme Sports Channel, the company has gone from
strength to strength.
Finding the right distributor in each country is the biggest challenge, but
after talking to loads of different partners, we’re extremely happy with all the
guys we have on board, as part of our long term plan to build a great global
distribution base. Our partners are empowered to build the Extreme Drinks brand
exclusively and on a national basis, introducing local consumers to a growing
portfolio of youth-focused, delicious soft drinks that are at the forefront of
current health trends and that deliver a functional boost with no artificial
ingredients. Whether it be the Kombucha-Guarana-Ginseng energising “Ex Energy”,
the Camomile-Valerian-Lemon Balm calming “Ex Chill”, the Hypotonic-Hyprol

EXTREME DRINKS: Our goal at Extreme Drinks is to deliver a completely radical,
totally natural, fully functional range of Drinks. Seven drinks make up the
portfolio, from the award winning Aqua Still with its innovative "Hip Clip", to
our delicious new range of vitamin waters called Aqua Vitamins (no artificial
anything found in these, of course), to our best selling natural Energy drink,
Extreme Energy, with Kombucha. With completely new and very different packaging
and the best natural ingredients we could find, we’ve produced a range of great

HISTORY: One afternoon in August 2001, Tim Day and Al Gosling, founder of
Extreme and the Extreme Sports Channel, were in Tarifa, southern Spain. Tarifa
is known for its epic wind conditions, perfect for kite surfing and windsurfing.
However, that day there was virtually no wind, so with little else to do they
were hanging out at the "Spin Out" bar on the beach shooting the breeze and
nursing killer hangovers.
While chilling in the Spanish sun and discussing life, Extreme and the recent
success of another bullish drinks company, they concluded there was a gap in the
drinks market and an opportunity to launch a new drinks company. Their goal was
to deliver a range of natural fully "funk"tional drinks, incorporating natural
ingredients to satisfy people across any lifestyle occasion. They then spent
twelve months learning about the drinks industry, developing the awesome range
of drinks and launched the biz in early 2003. The biz continues to go from
strength to strength.
EXTREME GROUP: Extreme Group was founded by Al Gosling in 1995 and has developed
through a fundamental passion for extreme sports. We believe in doing things
differently, offering people something new and giving real value for money.
Extreme began by selling extreme sports TV shows to channels all over the world
